"Mike Hendry manages the vineyards at his family's ranch west of the town of Napa; he started working with Bill Moore at his vineyard on the east side of town after marrying Moore's niece, Molly - launching this wine in 2009. The latest vintage is bristling with tannins and tart blackberry flavor. While oak aging has helped enrich the wine, it's the berry flavors that last, concentrated with a gentle undertow of richness."
